As camp winds down it's time to start to gear up for the upcoming season! One more week of easy running and then you should begin the structured training week found in your summer notes tab. If you have questions regarding the workouts make sure you contact us. For beginning paces, remember to use the pace chart with the thought of "where am I at right now". Be conservative with your beginning paces. We're looking for the high end of aerobic and NOT anaerobic. Also, with the heat and humidity most are dealing with, be extra careful with the paces.
Have fun!

ReplyDeleteMileage plan: 2400
This week (2014-07-13) Andres was supposed to run 48 miles, or 42.72 with his day off.
He ran 46.50 miles in 6 days.
He does not have times listed for his runs this week, so average pace for the week cannot be calculated.
His week went as follows:
Sunday (2014-07-13) - 0.00 miles with no time submitted.
Monday (2014-07-14) - 8.50 miles with no time submitted.
Tuesday (2014-07-15) - 10.50 miles with no time submitted.
Wednesday (2014-07-16) - 7.00 miles with no time submitted.
Thursday (2014-07-17) - 8.50 miles with no time submitted.
Friday (2014-07-18) - 6.00 miles in 00:38:38 (average pace of 00:06:26 per mile).
Saturday (2014-07-19) - 6.00 miles in 00:40:00 (average pace of 00:06:40 per mile).
This mileage report was calculated automatically. Any inconsistencies are due to either bad code, Andres not running, or not remembering to log his shit.

ReplyDeleteMy current running options include:
1) run in my new shoes without insoles, stop the run short because of plantar fasciitis, and walk 3 miles back (This morning's long run)
2) run in my new shoes with the insoles and stop every mile and a half because of hot spots on my feet (Tuesday with Greenwald and Chris)
3) run in my old shoes with my old insoles and stop early due to calf/achilles problems because the insoles are breaking (Monday)

ReplyDelete30 miles, so much fun to run again! Was supposed to do a lot less but started the week getting lost in France and ended up running/jogging for more than 2 hours (never ask me for directions…). And then Morgan came and we had a really great time! Even more excited to get back with the team now! Also anyone is always welcome to visit anytime if you are "in the area" :)
