Below is the schedule for the fall cross country season listing the date and location of each competition. Also listed is the number of each gender we anticipate traveling along with the race distances. The Sep 1 meet is hosted by Jacksonville State and we anticipate traveling with as many as possible excluding those who competed the weekend before at Griak. We'll have great opportunities this fall...LET'S GO TECH!
Lastly, this is the last week of just easy running and building our volume up before beginning the next phase, which will consist mostly of short fartlek-type efforts at xc distance race pace with sufficient aerobic recoveries.

55 last week. Very excited for Griak!
ReplyDelete61 last week. I'm twitching with excitement to start racing again! The CSU guys I've been running with are going to Griak, so I definitely can't wait for that race.
ReplyDelete66 miles last week. Starting to run more in the morning to dodge the heat. 4 AM wake up calls are not fun.
ReplyDelete19 miles last week in 5 days. Shin felt great this week so I can finally start picking up my training again. Looking like a fun schedule this year. Beat the Robot test in 1 try.
ReplyDelete45 miles this week. Looking forward to the season and racing! If anyone wants to meet up tomorrow morning for the long run at Kennesaw, let me know!
ReplyDelete51! Really pumped for cross country, and liking the schedule. Can't wait to see everyone in about 6 weeks!!
ReplyDeleteAlso I'm going to wear a water belt on my long run tomorrow because Houston is soooo hot so I'm totally going to look like a noob..... :(
49 miles last week.
ReplyDelete42 miles. I took saturday off because my adductor was hurting again, probably from all the walking I've been doing in Italy (about 3-4 hours a day). We were in Naples until friday and we just got to Rome from Florence. I think the most important thing I've learned from this trip so far is that I love America. Best country I've ever been to, hands down.
ReplyDelete48 miles last week. Excited about the schedule!
ReplyDelete42 miles last week (first week over 40 for the off season so far!!! woohooooo :D ) Already can't wait to race!!!
ReplyDelete51 miles last week
ReplyDelete38 miles. I had some temporary inflammation in my foot that caused me to cut two runs short. Feeling better now; I should be all good.
ReplyDelete45 miles. Excited for the racing season, and have been enjoying watching the Olympic Trials! :) On a random note, my work had a community shredding event...shredded over 1,000 pounds of paper. Quality.
ReplyDelete35 miles last week, getting ready to head out to Colorado on Thursday, let me know if your out there and would like to run
ReplyDelete47 for me. I am helping with crafts at VBS at my Church this week which is always fun. My birthday is tomorrow and I usually go see a movie to celebrate. I went to Swiss Army Man with my dad and my sister and her boyfriend. Weirdest movie ever.
ReplyDelete42 miles
ReplyDelete13 alter-miles from 40-50% body weight; would have done more if it wasn't for the holiday. Otherwise, just the usual cross-training.

ReplyDelete50 miles this week!
ReplyDelete32 miles last week. Seeing the schedule makes me excited for the season!
ReplyDelete35 miles last week, got hit really hard with a fever. I took some mileage off earlier on in the week before it got too bad thinking I could make it up or just be a little under for the week, but ended up taking Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off. I'm starting up again today and I may take it a little easy so next week will probably be a tad under too. Schedule looks great!
ReplyDelete41 miles for me. Hiked a little bit of the AT this week which was fun!
ReplyDelete44 miles last week. On September 3rd it's going dowwwwwn.
ReplyDelete25 miles for my first week back from break

ReplyDelete28 miles for my first week back after break
ReplyDelete6 miles. I wasnt going to start back up until this week but juanita came in town and we decided to run on very hilly backroad. Don't know if I'd recommend a hilly run as the first run back but the bagels we got afterwards made it worthwhile
ReplyDelete43 miles last week.
ReplyDelete65 miles last week. Just got back this morning from Eugene after spending Saturday and Sunday at the Trials, had a lot of fun watching both of the 5ks finals and the 1500 finals!
ReplyDeleteHey coach, since I've been pretty bad about posting mileage on here I should clarify how much I ran each week this summer.
ReplyDelete29-May 20
5-Jun 29
12-Jun 42
19-Jun 50
26-Jun 50
3-Jul 53
Great training so far. Making sure to take care of stretching and rolling too. Excited about the schedule.
45 miles for last week. Ran with Laura Serres and the Nike Madrid team last week. It was great to see an old teammate on the other side of the globe! I arrived in Granada yesterday and will be here for the next two weeks. Started my week off right with a run straight up one of the mountains! Very different than running in Madrid.
ReplyDelete44 miles! I got to run with Charlotte in Florida, Amy in Georgia (the bagels we ate were amazing to say the least) and Hailey in North Carolina!!
ReplyDelete40 miles last week and 35 the week before. Sorry I'm late posting!
ReplyDeleteOnly 33 miles last week because I had a sharp pain in my calf for three of the days. I'm back on the schedule now, and my calf feels great again!
ReplyDelete50 miles! Ran with Juanita, we were basically in the rain forest because it was so humid but I survived. Excited for cross country season!
ReplyDelete12 miles in 2 days, bike 50-60min for 4 days (avg rpm~104;L8-9), Thursday off/yoga/nap, Friday sports massage. Hip's feeling much better - heat at night & light rolling/yoga in morning & night has been helping so far. Hip circuit seems to work well too (probs more on mental side, but helps me feel like it's getting stronger). Tight & still need to establish more consistent rolling routine: goal for this week
ReplyDelete25 miles for my first full week back plus a lot of biking. Currently in the market for a lung transplant because altitude really is no joke (@Nahom). All donations will gladly be accepted
ReplyDelete48 last week
ReplyDelete47 miles last week. I'm in the outer banks right now and hopefully going to Kitty Hawk tomorrow!

ReplyDelete53 miles for last week. Having a great time at SMRC an ran buzzard bait for 7th time.
ReplyDelete41 miles last week, tad under since I moved my long run the week before and that week was over mileage. Evens out overall though. This week will be a little over as well, trying to knock out long run before we leave for the beach! Can't wait for XC season, the schedule looks great!
ReplyDelete37 miles last week. Just concluding day 3 as a counselor at a running camp in New Hampshire.
ReplyDeleteBeen doing most of our runs on a really pretty railroad track turned trail that runs right through the middle of Lake Winnipesaukee.
47 miles this week. Better late than never for the blog post.
ReplyDeleteSorry about the time of this blog post. I was really sick for a bunch of last week, so my mileage took a hit. 35 miles last week. I'll be back up and running this week
