28 miles last week. Good to run on flat ground at the beach, which made the workouts feel a lot better. Excited for these next 3 weeks before we get back to campus. Will finally be starting to hit full mileage.

53 miles last week with solid workouts on top of some traveling. Climb isn’t over yet trying for 60 this week!

Continued with the cross training and PT. Getting sore from my exercises so that’s good I guess??? I get to do a trial 2 mile run on Wednesday and if that goes well I can start running a few times a week. Very exciting stuff :)

66 miles last week. Tuesdays workout went went well but Fridays not so much. I am probably just not used to the higher mileage yet.

38 miles. Did Tuesdays workout in the pouring rain which was kinda fun. 6:30 for on pace, did 8 but definitely could have done more. Friday I reduced on pace to 6:40 bc it was 90% humidity and the tempo was 7:30-7:40. Felt super good in that as well. Humidity and heat were just no fun.

17 miles and 5.5 hrs cross training. My shin has been very temperamental, sometimes I feel nothing and on other runs it is extremely painful, despite running on the same soft surface loop and wearing the same shoes. Still waiting to hear from Dr. Mason, but Beverli is trying to get in touch with him too. I have a good feeling its tendonitis based on what I have felt in the past with shin stress fractures it presents slightly different. I am continuing PT, icing, stretching, and strength. Hope everyone is enjoying summer!

70 miles for last week. Consistent PT work and the icing alongside taking easy days controlled has left me feeling stronger and a little more recovered than I have in previous summers. I got a good snowball going right now and going to do everything in my control to keep it rolling.. tryna be cracked this year.

15 miles this past week. Slowly building back up. Stretching a lot daily on my hamstrings and Achilles, doing mostly resistance band work, single leg body-weight strengthening, RICE. Keeping a consistent routine is going to pay dividends. Crazy how many world records went down at worlds, so fun to watch.

70 miles last week. Went over mileage towards the end of the week. A lot of solid workout and good easy running. Down week will be nice. brickxbrick

76 miles this week. Loving life out here in Colorado and the running environment is epic! Workouts and runs have felt fairly decent and I am really trying to focus on how my body feels each run. I had to take yesterday off (yes, I hated every second of it) because I got sick from cross-contamination, but today I felt much better. My homie, MK, road the bike beside me this morning while I ran an easy, longish run. We hardly had a second of silence with all our chatting and joking, and, of course, being accompanied by the loudest, longest, train ever as we made way around Palmer Lake! Anyways, I hope everyone has a kick a$$ week.

50 miles last week. The heat and humidity were definitely getting to me at the end of the week but finished up and didn’t feel too horrible. I had a really good long run to kick off this week so Let’s gets this bread

50 miles last week. I was on track to hit 55 but on Friday my dog was at daycare and got his foot caught under a lawnmower so we had to rush him to the dog hospital and I was there all day with him. I decided not to run Saturday because Friday was really stressful for me. My paces on workouts are finally starting to feel like a better effort so I’m excited for this season

0 miles this week but lots of cross training! Just finished up at Brevard which was tragic, but thenI flew out to Colorado Springs to meet Clay, Katy, and Kenzie (and soon to be Gillian!)! I’ve already had some fun bikes around the amazing Colorado scenery, which is a million times better than the miserable stationary bike/elliptical ๐Ÿคฎ. Plus today I did an easy bike with my homie Clay it was thrilling and then hiked at Garden of the Gods! Also, I’m trying a 20 minute run tomorrow sooo we’ll see how it goes!

Had a brilliant week in Flagstaff with Ashley and Sophie. Lots of walking and cross training my side with three walk/runs. A highlight was swimming in NAU's swimming pool which is the highest Olympic-sized-pool in America. Progress is slow but coming along!

80 miles last week. I was surprised how good it felt. I’m very happy my lingering injuries haven’t scaled with my increase in volume and density.

0 miles this week- but plenty of cross training. I’ve biked about 50 miles this week and have swam 4.5 hours. Even though it sucks that I’m in a boot, I’m very grateful to be able to bike and swim in such a beautiful place. Also I’ve been really focused on strength and core this week.

40 miles last week + my first long run back at the mountain in quite a while with Sarah :) Finally feeling like I’m getting back into a groove. ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿฝ

62 miles! Honestly the mileage hasn’t been super difficult to hit, I try not to run more than 8 during the week and just double extra easy on the treadmill to get away from the heat. Usually followed by some strength, core and stretching! T-3 weeks!!!!

32 miles and about an hour of cross training on the elliptical! The workouts were great!! I’m feeling much stronger and almost back to normal :)
