37 for the week. Another pretty decent week overall. Did a 5-4-3-2-1 fartlek on the track on Tuesday and managed to trump last weeks fartlek even with a significant heat increase. Similar situation happened with the 80% run. It was hard to escape the heat this week. Managed to knock out 5 in 29:32.
ReplyDelete29, still resting and getting in some easy runs. Doing core and swimming also. Should be able to run everyday this coming week
ReplyDelete58 for the week, I liked the increase in mileage.
ReplyDelete64 miles. Felt good, minus my hamstrings feeling a little tight.
ReplyDeleteJust got back from the beach! Always disappointing to be back but ready to get back to the routine, especially once classes are over. 55 for last week and 50 for the week before. Had some great runs at the beach, so I'm stoked to have a great last few weeks before were back in the ATL!
ReplyDeleteHi everyone!! Not sure if it's awesome that it was drilled into my head or creepy that I still automatically check this every Sunday, haha, but I miss you guys!! I'm leaving for UVA tomorrow morning really early, and just wanted to say I'm thinking about everyone and good luck this season!! I'm so glad that the schedule is up and am hoping to come to a few meets...probably doesn't count for much, but I vote Blacksburg for the weekend of September 14th ;) Love you guys!!
ReplyDeleteSorry I haven't posted in a while, UNCA has minimal internet access! I ran 58 this past week at camp in 7 days, 50 in 6 the week before, and 31 in 5 the week before that due to an ankle tweak midway through a Tuesday 9 miler. Actually (planning on) finally hitting my mileage plan this next week! Can't wait to see/meet everyone!

ReplyDelete31 miles this past week. My left knee started irritating me halfway through the week and some pain still lingered on Thursday while running, so I have been swimming in between one and two miles a day since then. It should clear up completely in a day or two.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately only 41 miles to report. Lost a day to travel and my tempo run was cut short by a digestive dilemma.

ReplyDeleteAWWW YEAHH VT!! 63. Hammies were a little tight, but I am taking care of it. Had a smooth 13 miler today. Also taking my golf game to new heights, so coach Drosky you better get practicing.
ReplyDelete71. i do it.
ReplyDeleteA cool 61 this week, holding down most of my nagging injuries pretty well. 7 mile tempo in 42:57 felt good.

Sorry I didn't get around to posting last week, 53 two weeks ago and 65 last week.
ReplyDeleteI did my first workouts last week and they went much better than I thought they would. I also got what I would call my first quality long run in.
48 last week. It finally cooled off a bit here, and rained!! This week is supposed to be hot again, though.
ReplyDelete46 miles. finally made it back home for the rest of the summer. can't wait to see everyone!!!!

ReplyDelete55 for the week. Sorry about the black and red Coach Megs...

ReplyDelete50 for the week
ReplyDelete60 this week. Definitely noticed the heat increase compared to last week. Not bad, but tempo could have gone better.
ReplyDelete50 miles for two weeks ago. Felt good.
ReplyDelete26 miles for the most recent week. I went out of town last weekend for vacation and that plus the heat really threw me off my schedule. I'll be back on track this week.
Eyyyyyyy-ooooooh MKDB!
ReplyDelete64 for the past week. legs felt the increase in mileage..old injuries came up but taking care of it. Still doing my 80% runs at kennesaw mt. Hills throw my pace off but it's all good. I enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteJWeg we're about to ham next week at the running camp!
Eyyyyyyyoohhhhh
ReplyDeleteWhat's this? UGA meet on a Saturday? So I can be there to cheer? Doug you ready to start the season off with a PR?
ReplyDelete58 last week. Had good workouts, and I'm pumped for the season!

ReplyDelete55. Tempo was crap. It was like 102 degrees...I could only do 3 fast. Good luck Mary!
ReplyDeleteThese past two weeks have not been that great. My foot is starting to act up agian so I have had to back off mileage agian. For the week of the 15 I was at 44 and this past week I was back down to 24. Excited about the schedule though.
ReplyDeleteeyy ohh para MKDB!
ReplyDelete52! felt good especially towards the end of the week, and met an old guy that used to run the 440 for Tech back in the old days! Getting excited!
ReplyDelete27 last week. Sorry for being the worst athlete ever :( FOUR DAYS UNTIL I AM HOME.

ReplyDelete60 last week, fartlek was a little rough but the 80% run felt good
ReplyDelete53 miles of intrepid intensity while staying well within the moderate aerobic confines of 80~85 percent effort. The fartlek was a test of heat-endurance on Norcross High's black track under the scalding sun. The tempo proved only tepid in comparison due to some light rain and breeze off the river. 5 in 29:32 felt very manageable.

ReplyDeleteBack up to 22 this week, shin feels much better.
ReplyDeletep.s. liking the schedule alot!
