ReplyDelete12 miles last week. Was having a lot of issues still with my “hamstring” so I went to some doctors at home, got a MRI, and found out I had a stress reaction in my high hamstring/ glute connector area along with high hamstring tendinopothy. Now I’m just taking completely off for a couple weeks before starting a PT and cross training plan. Not exactly sure how long till I’ll run again but I am very glad to be finally figuring out the problems that have been bothering me all of outdoor season! Currently in Ireland on vacation with my family, so I have lots to distract me with in the meantime :)
ReplyDelete32 miles last week. Felt really clunky and heavy for my first few runs back, but mostly feeling good now
ReplyDelete40 miles + 30 min aqua jogging - Myles Collins
ReplyDeleteCurrently waiting out two stress fractures (one in each tibial) so sadly no running my side - I am definitely missing running all the loops back here in South Africa. I have been doing light to moderate cross training in the meantime. Fortunately or so not fortunately I have had three summer classes to keep me busy.
ReplyDeleteMiss you Sarah :(

ReplyDelete37 miles last week and feeling pretty smooth. Had my first tempo of the summer with myles which felt great. Excited to get into full mileage.
ReplyDelete15 miles last week
ReplyDeleteKaty- 25 miles last week! Felt surprisingly in shape to run normally. Excited to be back to running!! Can’t wait for these hill strides on Thursday !
ReplyDeleteI’ve been coaching swim team so it’s been keeping me busy! Babysitting last week took all my energy those days, so I’m happy for a break this week! I’m excited to start my volunteering program tomorrow!

ReplyDelete25 miles! Happy to be back running :)
ReplyDelete17 miles this week :)
ReplyDelete30 miles last week plus 30 minutes of cross training. Just happy to be training again and doing my favorite thing in the world. Trying to teach my dog how to run, but she needs alotta work in that department. LEZZZ GO Nicole!!

ReplyDelete37 miles last week. Houston is very cool, there's tons of places to run. but if you run after 7, it is death and apparently it is only gonna get hotter. I've been waking up at 5:30 before work and going to bed nice and early. One of the other interns likes to run, but is pretty slow so I've been running with them to force myself to go slow on easy days.
ReplyDelete17 miles last week getting over really nasty sickness that linger for a week during my cross training week coming back. hope to put it behind me after this week of training.
ReplyDelete24 miles ! 🪩🤩🫶
ReplyDelete20 miles last week. GO NICOLE!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteStill no running last week due to mouth surgery. Still having issues with my hamstring and Achilles in my right leg, similar pain in my left hamstring. Seeing a PT person in Orlando this Friday, so hopefully they can help sort this out. I’ve been doing a lot of new rope stretching, core, and glute exercises to try to strengthen everything. Hopefully back running in a week or two.
ReplyDeleteGood luck Nicole! Have some fun in Eugene!
DeleteBack to the cross training grind I was on last summer :( Turns out I have a partially torn Achilles and small stress reactions and little bit of some other ligament issues. So I’m getting shock wave therapy weekly to help it heel faster, so hopefully it works! Mainly just biking and swimming for now.
ReplyDelete22 miles last week and 45 mins of aqua jogging. I leave for Oregon tomorrow so I am excited to watch the best of the best compete and see some of the coast out west!!! My plantar fasciitis is still super tight so I am doing more things to help heal that up faster and will try cross-training as needed. Icing the foot 2-3x a day now and that is not very fun.
ReplyDelete31 miles last week. Still hitting some easy mileage, but feeling very fit and comfortable on runs. Been having some post tib issues, but I feel like it is starting to go down now. Living in Atlanta while I work this summer, so I’m excited to get to run with those that are also in Atlanta.
ReplyDelete25 miles last week. I extended my break by a few days because my 10 days off from running had 10-15 miles of walking/hiking a day. That extra recovery was much needed, but it feels very good to be back running. Hip/glute irritation that is lingering from track season, really going in on recovery to get that figured out.
ReplyDelete12 miles, got some type of stomach bug/ food poisoning so I took off Saturday. Planning on hitting 18 this week
ReplyDelete24 miles last week. Fortitudine vincimus

ReplyDeletesolid 15 miles running, stand up paddle boarding, and biking last week. I also am lifting twice a week, the normal tuesday/friday programming. I found a doctor near me that specializes in sports rehab through deep trigger point needling so that is helping tremendously! I leave her office with Band-Aids all down my legs. Excited to see Nicole crush it this weekend!!
ReplyDelete20 miles. First week of work: exhausting but interesting! If you’re in atl text me to run :)
ReplyDelete15ish miles last week + lots and lots of stationary biking. Heading into my final week of running minutes and gearing up for a steady progression back into mileage. I had spin instructor certification last week, which was actual hell. But now that it's over, I'm so excited to teach this summer!
ReplyDelete24 miles for the week. Felt pretty good starting back, and traveled out here to Colorado on Friday and Saturday! Started work on Monday and have done a couple runs in altitude, and have made sure to take them VERY easy to start. It’s beautiful out here and I’m super excited to be here this summer!
ReplyDelete20 miles last week. Felt great doing some easy mileage. I’m going to try and it 28 this week
