*All reporting of weekly mileage should now be to the comment section of the blog.
It's great to see all the posts with your mileage and other comments. No doubt, the heat and humidity are cranking up in the south after a mild start through early July. As we've said before, just run how you feel and don't worry about the pace of your runs. It's ok to be slower than when you're back at school, getting the volume in is the primary goal at this stage of training.

58.4 kilometers. Ran with Zane everyday since Tuesday and a couple other people here and there. Trying to avoid the heat by running either in the am or around 6-7 at night.
45 miles. Had a minor setback with my back, but it's progressing.

55 miles last week, feeling good! -Patrick Fleming
65 miles last week. I felt strong all week and have been getting a gratuitous amount of sleep. I'm looking forward to August and beyond with enthusiasm.
0 miles last week. Saw a orthopedic surgeon and he told me that I have peronial tendonitis (I already knew that). He also told me to take off running, stretch a lot more, and crosstrain for the week until my foot was pain-free when I walked around. Foot feels awesome now and I ran a really nice, painfree 6 miles today at the river. Goal for this week will be between 16-18 miles
AO Patrick. 48.
45 Miles. Starting to love these morning runs.
55- a little short due to travel. I spent the weekend in Dallas visiting KTown and Tina!
0 running miles.
I started biking and it feels great :) *Knock on wood* I will continue to cross train for the next few weeks and make sure everything feels good.

52. I took a day off this week also because I had a weird work schedule. Had a very good time with HDog in the Big D. She said it was really hot in Dallas...I told her it was because she was here ;) #pickuplines #hotrunsinDallas
44 miles - slow, long, hot running is officially upon us. Hang in there everybody. #TrialofMilesMilesofTrials

43. Short due to two tests this week plus travel to NYC to visit my brother. Got here Thursday night leaving this afternoon. Got some great running in. Really starting to get back into the whole routine and running 10 feels gretty good (but I did almost die when we ran 12 in queens because we we were lost).
41 miles on the week. Fell short on my mileage due to sickness later in the week. My early week runs were going really well though. The heat is becoming unbearable in Houston. I started my long run at 8:30 on Sunday and it was already 90 degrees out and humid.
47 miles last week
37 miles.
Feeling good in Madrid. Having to run at night due to the extreme heat over here but starting to get back to my mileage this week from my sickness set back.
Missing everyone!! can't wait for cross!! :)
46 this week
A meager 35 in four days. I was overly optimistic about my ability to run while travelling and took off Monday. That mistake won't be made again.
On the other hand travel was awesome. 1900 km in four days across the North of Spain. We climbed some mountains in three different parts, got lost in the boonies multiple times, ran with the bulls in Pamplona, saw beautiful cathedrals in Zaragoza and Haro, slept four guys in a hatchback for three nights. It was quite the trip.
41 miles
50 miles. Zap Fitness running camp was awesome. The perfect area for running in my opinion - wide trails, gradual hills, beautiful scenery, and cool mountain air. Hope to be able to go again next year.
36 miles
30 miles last week, 38 miles this week. Running in Italy has been a challenge. Got lost in Palermo and scared my mom half to death. But tomorrow I'm going to a local park in Rome. I'll be home in 3 days.
38 miles plus some yoga that made me appreciate how much I've been stretching!
14 miles this week. Calves feeling better than they have in months.
35 miles. Looking forward to more mileage this week, I'm feeling pretty good. Finally get to catch up with the schedule this week as well.

44 miles. It was great to get in a couple of runs with Rachel, Melissa, and Hayley!

I've been a little out of the loop. My last three weeks have been 48, 51, and 52 respectively, with last week's mileage over 5 days. Just the standard prowling.

45 and loving every mile! Done a lot of reflecting since this will be the 10th and final cross country season of my life! Crazy how time flies. So excited to see and run with Hayley Keadey this Thursday evening/Friday morning :) have a great week everyone!
So glad to see Jag is back on the prowl. 40 miles for last week.
