team culture to continue next week

All reporting of weekly mileage should now be to the comment section of the blog.

Gonna be a short post...in Salt Lake City on a layover to Atlanta, arriving very late tonight.  Everyone should now just follow your regular daily schedule with either every Monday off or every other Monday off depending on your schedule.  Also, note that in the Summer Notes there are no fartlek or workouts for the first six weeks. When we get past six weeks of just easy aerobic running, workouts for Tue/Fri will be listed on the blog.  And next week we'll continue with #3 and #4 of the 4 THINGS YOUR LEADERS MUST DO TO CREATE A CHAMPIONSHIP CULTURE.

36 in 5 last week. 42 in 6 this week. My bad on the missed post last week! I can read the blog at work but I can't post a comment because all google accounts are blocked so once I read it I forgot to post. Running is going well and Knoxville is heating up majorly so I am getting up earlier to run a few and then running later at night a lot. Met some post-collegiate kids from Clemson and UT so trying to get a good group for some runs. Knee-hole has not hurt in about 10 days so that is fantastic even without my hard drugs (ibuprofen). Freshmen... Welcome to the team. Introduction week? Who are you? Also don't we have a transfer? I'm Chance. Probably the most lovable person you'll ever meet. Also, girls (or guys), look up Matt Munns on Facebook. He is single. Pumped to meet you kids because everyone else on the team just is not cool enough for me. No pressure though. Safe travels coach!

47. Post-run yesterday my shorts were wetter than the Baby-Faced Assasin's Jumper. It's getting hot. Shoutout to Veith: Good luck on the MCAT, Doc. Let's celebrate with a Peachtree Battle Sunday.

30 miles. It's going to be ridiculously hot this week but Paige and I run before 6am so we'll be okay:)

35 miles last week. Was in the no hills haven of Florida last week, but now I'm back to the hills of Kennesaw we love.

31 miles running in the scorching heat of dallas and san antonio. Hip/groin still getting better. Good luck to Veith on the MCAT!

32 in 5 runs that were pretty lackluster; starting back running and strength work makes you absurdly sore. I've escaped Georgia and am back in PA now, where the heat is reasonable and the air won't drown you. I was so sore from Friday I ran a downhill, 7:45 for the first mile of my long run yesterday, with the first half mile being over 4 minutes. The rest of it was great and I'm rolling twice a day to keep it that way. And Veith, the MCAT only dictates the rest of your career, you'll be fine.

28 miles 2 weeks ago and 32 last week. Sorry about the no post, was on a cruise ship the past Sunday to Sunday. Glad to be back in Atlanta and not running on a treadmill. If anyone is looking to have a running partner around 7:30AM feel free to shoot over a text.

Thanks for support boys. 61 on 6. I took a practice test on Saturday so I took the day off. I'll probably take this next Saturday off as well, because odds are my mind is going to be a smoldering pile of mush after the big one. Sorry the mileage is higher than the schedule. I was just gonna keep the normal progression, just a few weeks ahead.

P.S.
Nahom, I'll be out at Juhan soon enough.
Bill, if it weren't Father's Day, I'd be there in a heartbeat.
Nico, thanks...

P.P.S.
If anyone wants to take the MCAT for me, feel free to step forward.

31 miles in 6 days. Twisted my ankle on a run in one of the many FL swamps and took Saturday off as a result. Still a little swollen but getting better. Also, congrats to Avery on a great Dream Mile last weekend!

12 miles last week. Was waylaid by food poisoning after eating a ton of raw oysters (never eaten anything raw in my life). Would not recommend to a similarly inexperienced person.

18 miles on the Pre-trails in Eugene, Oregon! Crushed Melissa's week of running, haha! But I have a feeling I will not be ahead again. And I too was sore as all get out from starting back with the leg circuit!

0 miles, killin' it! Veith, I don't know a lot about cats, but I will gladly take the test for you. I'm glad to be home in VB, although it isn't as great as I thought it would be. My mom's paleo diet means that all we have to eat in the house is plant seeds and twigs...and we have like 9 pounds of quinoa [kwee-no] in the pantry. So I will work on fixing that situation. In other news, I'm going to my ex-girlfriend's wedding this weekend, so that will be sufficiently awkward...but anyways. Hey Munns, I am trying to finagle a membership to a Jewish Community Center gym near my office for the summer, do you have any tips? I hope everyone's training is going well!
