Happy birthday to Ronan, our current President, and my twin sisters yesterday (Ronan is not our current President). The Bill Dellinger invite looks insanely cool and featured a bunch of nationally ranked cross teams like Oregon, Stanford, BYU, and Portland in years past. Running was good for a solid 45 miles this past week. Headed to the beach to visit my grandma for a few days.
43 miles and 90 mins of biking last week. Did some leg circuits and strength which were more difficult than I would’ve liked and made my legs a lil tired. I’m in upstate New York for the next few weeks so the running here is in much nicer weather than in Florida and the hills are a good challenge. Easy tempos are going well and feeling good overall!
Happy late bday Ronan!!
Happy belated birthday Ronan!!
35 miles last week and 31 the week before! Started the easy tempos last week and they went pretty well! Also started working at Chickfila with Nicole and Zaubi which has been fun, but I may be quitting soon because I keep breaking out in hives :// but come visit me while I'm still there!
42 miles and 45 minutes of swimming + some yoga. Finally starting to get into the groove of running more miles & really focusing on not making the tempos too hard. Loved getting to do long runs the past two Sundays with gals on the team- highlight of my week :)
Hey peeps! 39 miles last week and 45 minutes of biking along with 30 minutes of swimming. Going into my sixth of working with my dad on building some apartments. Its going great and I have already learned quite a bit...I even got my own hard hat lol. Well, anyways lets get after this tempo tomorrow team. Have a great week!
46 miles last week and 50 mins biking + strength/yoga.The race schedule looks ~amazing~ so I really hope that everything works out! Also, all my runs have been pretty solid but I'm counting down the days until we can all practice together again :)
51 miles last week. Unfortunately both easy tempos went pretty badly. It was a bit of a stressful week for my internship which probably affected things. I tried to have a positive mindset but negative thoughts kept creeping in. Thankfully I had a redeeming long run at the saw yesterday with some of the other guys. In March/April, I often got dropped at the end of runs, but yesterday I was able to hold on through the end. We weren't going super fast or anything, but the hills plus the more technical trails can tire me out physically as well as mentally. Wish there was more soft surface in the Smyrna area for the easy tempos. Hoping I can have a good one sooner or later. Also, I turn 21 this week, though with work, a 58 mile week, and COVID, celebrations will likely be kept to a minimum.
38 and 44 miles for the past 2 weeks. Training is going well and the weather is heating up!
40 miles last week and 30 minutes of aqua jogging with Harry. Feeling really good and getting used to the heat and humidity. Had a great tempo progression run on Friday and strides on golf course 2 times this week.
Thank you for the birthday wishes. Donny Trump, both of Cole's sisters, and I had a combined birthday party, which was tons of fun. I ran 46 last week. Besides work being a bit tiring, miles and tempos are feeling good. I've been trying to find places that I can run on grass more around my house but it's kinda hard in Baltimore.
37 miles + 60 minutes of cross training (swimming & stairs) last week. I also added in a second day of strides and have been focusing on post-run nutrition. So ready to start training with the team!
35 miles and biking for cross training. I also started working on post run nutrition like Kenzie:) I'm so excited to see everyone in the fall!
37 miles + indoor biking and swimming for cross training last week. It’s been super humid, but I’m getting used to it. I’ve started tracking how much water I drink to make sure I stay hydrated. I hope everyone has a great week!
47 miles last week and a 45 min spin class for cross training! The tempos have gone well and all of my runs have felt great, but I can’t wait to have everyone back together!! Hope everyone is doing well!
33 miles last week with hiking/biking/strength. Enjoying the slow build; my body is definitely still adjusting to running majority of the week. Hoping the creakiness will fade over the coming weeks.
47 miles and 60 mins of mountain biking last week. The tempos are about as hard as they should be and I have only had minor aches and pains. marking down races on my calendar makes everything seem so much more real.
20 miles and 3 hours of cross training consisting of elliptigo and swimming. Tightness and the little aches are working themselves out and runs are feeling more comfortable. Was really diligent about taking vitamins and recovering well which definitely improved how I felt all week.
37 miles last week. It was a bit cooler when I ran the friday tempo and that one definitely felt the best so far. Hope everyone has a good week!
40 BIG ONES last week. This is where the fun begins. Did my first tempo on Friday at the beach since this past week was getting back into it after my wisdom teeth. 4.5 miles at about 6:20 and felt pretty good. Had a good 11 mile long run last Sunday at the beach and another good 12 mile one this past Sunday at the SAW. Henrik is now living with me and we're working together as well so I get to see his beautiful smiling face all day every day. We had a good tempo this morning at the river of 5.5 miles at about a 6:00-6:05 average and we felt smooth the whole time.
53 miles :) Last week, I survived a hiking trip in Oregon with my sisters and my dad that started to feel a lot like fat camp by the end. This week, I’m looking forward to not getting 40,000 steps every day
Only got up to 20 miles last week as I was in the process of moving down to Atlanta for the Summer. I have been getting up early to do my runs before work so far this week. Excited to start up with this new routine and get in some high mileage weeks this summer!
43 miles last week; 1.5hrs of hiking. Solid tempos on tuesday and friday. Runs have been going pretty well, minds in the right spot.
40 miles last week. Tempo last Tuesday was not as good as I wanted it to be. Tempo on Friday was much better, though. Still adjusting to warmer weather and trying to recover as much as possible.
Hey! Got off of crutches last Monday and have officially started getting back into it. Done a couple swims and am starting to slowly ween off the boot so I am PUMPED to run again, probably gonna cry because I have never gone this long without exercise. Can't wait to see you all soon!
55 miles last week and an hour on the elliptical. The tempos are going pretty well and the increases in mileage week by week have been feeling good.
46 miles last week. Tempos started out real rough but they have been getting better with each run and the long run w voss and higinbotham was great. Hopefully we can start getting a bigger group up at THE SAW or the river pretty soon
58 miles and 2x30 min swim. Looking forward to the visitor center back BLAST at THE SAW
49 miles last week. Feelin' good.
36 miles and 30 minutes of biking last week! Everything is still feeling good.
