40. No uGA meet this year, huh? I'm gonna miss those sunglasses. Did anyone see the Paris DL meet this weekend? Jager tripped on the last barrier, and still ran 8:00! What a bro.

Haven't commented in a few weeks now due to a mission trip in the Dominican and then being super busy with my internship. Did 44, 42, and 51 miles the past 3 weeks

53 miles last week, did a pretty sweet scavenger hunt along the beach where each checkpoint was something unique about Wilmyhood

51 last week in 6 days. Went home for the weekend so was able to get some nice hills in.

43 miles. Four 12 hr shifts last week definitely took a toll, but now I feel as if I can take on anything! Too excited about the upcoming cross schedule! Hope training is going well for everyone!

0 miles. Yeah Jeremy, Jager took control of that race and was looking good but you could tell he was pretty tired from the last water jump. Looking forward to getting to know all the new personalities on the team. I've been getting in a good amount of L7 and hamstring stretching. Also started writing down everything I do related to running despite not running right now. Helps with accountability.

40 in 5 this week with the fifth day being a semi-significant ankle twist on Saturday that cut the run very short. Pretty sore and swollen yesterday and we will see how it feels after work today. Other than the ankle twist week of running went pretty well. Had to squeeze a lot of work hours into a few days and then drive from Knoxville to Dville in some awful rainy traffic so that kinda sucked but long run was great. Thank God we are not running the UGA meet. Good call.

Nico, you make a great point. I haven't decided how I feel about groundhogs yet - they're faster than expected & sound like dolphins (they're also adorable). I think I like them :) Excited to see everyone soon

51, went down the shore and had the opportunity to run with Southern California's best hobby jogger, my old team mate, and Penn State grad, Nick Scarpello. Got an interesting look at post-collegiate running and learned that running fast doesn't stop at graduation; he ran a PR 14:14 at Mt. Sac and 4:01 road mile on a "slightly downhill" course. I had to shift some runs around to fit the in the holiday weekend (took Sunday off, Tuesday was on Monday, and long run today), but it's working out nice.

Sorry for the late post. 82 for last week. Went to Charleston for the 4th. Crushed a long run on the flat open roads of Mt. Pleasant. Melissa, thats your neck of the woods right? Anyway, back to the grind this week. Work in the lab is picking up. Im in and out of IBB all day long. Lots of standing. Cant wait for workouts to start.

Re-reading the blog on desktop and noticing none of my mobile comments have been posting. Will only comment from my desktop now. But coming back to running after the week of cross training is going well. 29 and 37 for the past 2 weeks. Excited about the new races in the schedule.

Hopped on this week's short-mileage bandwagon it would seem, only got in 29 due to poor planning on my part around a beach camping road trip.
