Did an 8 mile run in 49 minutes. I felt really good. My ankle didn't hurt during the run, but it still hurts in different ranges of motion. Im just trying to get back into it and on monday i'll start doing workouts again.

Training is a little different for me than it was last year. My work outs are more timed efforts than distances. I don't have an indoor track to run on like I did last year and most of our outdoor tracks have been locked up until recently. However, I do feel I'm still attaining the same effort and gaining the same benefit as the workouts on the schedule. Hope everybody else's training is going well and you all have a Merry Christmas.

P.S. My Mother doesn't have a (working)computer so my posts are going to be a little sporatic...I'm sorry :P

I ran a 6k tempo at my high school track in 22:28. It was windy, so it felt harder than previous runs.

I ran 4 miles at Boling Park in 23:42...it's a 1 mile loop, but I think it's a little short.
